GangingPlan

A ganging layout plan (N-up mode)

rowsInt!

Rows of items in the step-and-repeat grid

colsInt!

Columns of items in the step-and-repeat grid

Items placed per sheet side (rows × cols)

Press sheets needed for the requested quantity: ceil(quantity ÷ pagesUp). 1 when no quantity was supplied.

Substrate this plan gangs onto; its sheet size is what the grid was fitted against

Sheet orientation the fitter settled on (portrait or landscape). Both sheet rotations are tried; the one yielding the most ups wins.

Sheet area covered by the ganged cells, as a ratio in 0.0–1.0 — NOT a 0–100 percentage. 0.86 means 86% of the sheet area is covered. Computed as used cell area ÷ total sheet area, where a cell is the finished size plus bleed on all sides.

Horizontal gap between adjacent columns, in mm (as requested)

Vertical gap between adjacent rows, in mm (as requested)

Full sheet placement geometry for rendering
