CostLineItem

A single costed line in a job costing summary — either a material line sourced from a purchase-order line, or an operation line priced from the current cost rates.

Human-readable label for the cost line: the purchase-order line's description for a material line, the operation's name for an operation line.

categoryString!

Which bucket this line belongs to: "material" for lines derived from purchase-order lines, "operation" for lines derived from job operations. Not a cost-category code.

quantityFloat!

Quantity the line is costed on. For a material line, the purchase-order line quantity in its own unit. For an operation line, the operation's expected duration converted to hours, falling back to 1.0 when the operation has no expected duration.

unitCostFloat!

Cost of one unit of quantity: the purchase-order line's unit price for a material line, the current run rate of the mapped cost category (per hour) for an operation line. 0 when no current rate is mapped for the operation.

totalCostFloat!

Extended cost for this line. Material lines take the purchase-order line total as booked; operation lines are computed as quantity x unitCost summed over every run-type cost mapping for the operation's kind, so an operation with several mappings totals more than quantity x unitCost.

ISO-4217 currency of unitCost and totalCost. Null when the currency is unknown — for an operation line with no current cost rate. Lines are not converted to a common currency, so a summary can mix currencies.
