# Getting started

Open your workflow in the CoCoCo app. In the Flow tab, choose **Create XML draft** to begin editing XML. Use suggestions as you type, or press Ctrl+Space. Hover over a name for help and use the outline to navigate.

A workflow contains nodes (steps) and edges (connections). This workflow copies an input message through two steps. With `message` set to `Hello`, the final result is `Hello`.

Save a version when the source is ready. Saving and activating are separate actions: review the version before making it active.
